So I try to spend a week planning my weekend carefully to get something special for me. 😉 I will not apologize, I’m looking forward to Black Friday / Cyber on Monday the whole year.
Every year, we collect a list of our favorite items from around the year, which we think make excellent options for pampering yourself (or this particular fiber enthusiast in your life) this holiday season. Jacques and I are often asked what our needles are. The answer is always that it really depends on what I plan to do. New needles can be quite large investments, especially if you get a set. So, we have compiled a list of our favorite needles and scored them using a 5-way rubric to help you find your preference for a fabulous set of new needles. I plan to do another review this summer, which will focus on direct needles and DPN, but for this round of rest, I recommend referring to a set of interchangeable items that can meet your needs throughout the year.
In the replacement needle, there are 2 main rivals: “The Pride of the Knitter” and “Skachel” (you probably know them as Addi). If you are considering buying a set of needles for yourself or as a gift, then interchangeable devices are really suitable. You can not defeat universality. However, if you are tempted to get one of the cheaper sets that you can see in the big store, please save time and frustration. Bad interchangeable ones are mainly useful only for kindling. If you decide, be prepared to go for a good set. I appreciated Addi Clicks and Pride Marblez and Royales from Knitter, based on Durability, Comfort, Utility, Beauty, and Price. I scored every category out of a maximum of 10. It should be noted that for the price I based my estimate on the price of yarn.com for each item since that’s where I usually buy if I buy online. As always, I think the best place to shop is in your local yarn store, so show them a little love this weekend! [Read more…] about best knitting needle 2017
